SGS Group Egypt is one of the 300 Affiliated Companies of the SGS International Group and it is separately organised and managed in accordance with the Laws and Practices of The Arab Republic of Egypt.

SGS Group Egypt acts as the designated Group’s regional implementing affiliate of SGS on behalf of all its branches in the Near East Region, i.e. Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Syria, Sudan, and Yemen.

A highly trained workforce consisting of over 250 full-time staff operating from fourteen (14) offices and one central laboratory in Egypt, services the needs of Clients in Egypt & the Near East Region.  Operations are co-ordinate from Cairo where we are well located to monitor and supervise the significant SGS activities throughout Egypt as well as the Near East Region.

SGS has been present in Egypt since 1965.  Since those early days SGS has grown to be the Market Leader in our core areas of activity.  SGS Group Egypt is fully committed to the Near East Region, with a local Presence for over 35 years, providing verification, testing and certification services to both the Public and Private Sectors.

SGS S&SC Egypt (Systems & Services Certification) has a proven track record in Consultation & Certification in Egypt and the Middle East region. In fact, over 350 Companies have been registered to ISO 9000, ISO 14001, HACCP, QS9000, etc, series standards as a result of SGS S&SC Egypt activities in the region.
